A group of bald eagles congregate on the snowy shores along the Chilkat River in search of salmon during the winter months. The area is a major habitat for bald eagles, who migrate from far and wide, during the last major salmon spawn of the season. Here, eagles will feast upon and fight each other over the fish supply.
