Bald eagle descends on beach – A bald eagle begins to tuck its wings in and stretches out its talons as it prepares to land on the sandy shore of the Chilkat River in Southeast Alaska. The bald eagle has migrated to this area to feast on salmon and salmon carcasses during the last salmon spawn of the year.
