Ghost Glass Frog In Costa RicaSachatamia ilex is commonly known as either the Ghost Glass Frog or the Limon Giant Glass Frog. They’re extremely shy animals, often only revealing themselves when it’s time to seek a mate.
During mating season, male glass frogs call out to females, but must fight other males who hear the calls and try to invade their territory. When a female finds a mate, she’ll lay her eggs on the underside of a leaf overhanging water, so the tadpoles can drip into water as they hatch.

Green And Black Poison Dart Frog Picture From Costa RicaGreen and Black Poison Dart frog picture during a wildlife photo tour in Costa Rica. This up close and personal frog picture details the mint green and black skin of this anuran, as well as the sucker-like discs on its toes to aid in climbing. Found prevalently in Costa Rica, this frog portrait was captured near Cordillera de Talamanca.
