Anasazi House Of Flame RuinIt is easy to see how the "Flame House" gets its name. This ancient ruin in Utah was once home to the Anasazi. As the sun rises, the light bounces off the ground onto the room giving the appearance of the roof being on fire. White Rim In Canyonlands National ParkThe Island in the Sky mesa as seen from the White Rim Road in Canyonlands National Park. At sunset, the colorful red rock of the sandstone gives way to a bluish tone from the darkening sky. Those sheer cliffs are over 1,000 feet tall, hence the name.
