Alaskan eagle rests atop a spruce tree along the Chilkoot River. Near the peak of this 300+ foot conifer, a lone Alaskan eagle surveys the landscape for prey. Surrounded by hundred of evergreen cones, this raptor makes its home in the wilderness near Haines, Alaska.
