Located above the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park, the lower falls measure in at an overwhelming height of 308 feet, which is twice as high as Niagara Falls. The Yellowstone River carves this 1,000 foot plus canyon for nearly 20 miles in the heart of the park. This waterfall is visible from many areas in the Canyon Village section of the park.
