This photo of a stunning aurora borealis was taken at Marion Creek Campground, a Bureau of Land Management site near Wiseman, Alaska.
Wiseman is located along the Dalton Highway. Running from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay, the Dalton was originally built to service the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline. It’s now a popular destination for aurora-watchers and extreme road trippers.
