The fall colors of Colorado peak in late September painting the landscape with vivid golden aspen leaves. A favorite pastime of the locals is to follow these windy mountain roads and enjoy the transformation to winter. Our road trip took us through the southwestern and south central areas of Colorado where the brilliant blue skies and yellow leaves mixed with the evergreens to create a vivid portrait.
