Eagles attacking over salmon scraps, as one chases away the other, a fresh fish head lays in the snow. The bony fish spine is exposed to the rush of cold air as these two bald eagles skirmish just inches above the ground.
Displaying their sharp talons, these raptors use powerful wings to propel them through the fire of this fierce battle. The Alaskan backcountry is a tough place to exist. With a rugged, snowy terrain near the banks of the Chilkat River, these bald eagles call this land home.
