A wonderful action picture of a brown bear fishing. Lunging after its prey, the spawning season at Silver Salmon Creek draws in high numbers of coastal brown bears each year. On a 10 mile stretch of land, the world’s largest concentration of brown bears gather to feast. Becoming an experienced fisherman takes practice and with hundred of thousands of salmon swimming through, these bears get plenty of opportunities to figure it out. Striding through the moving water, and making it look easy, this bear spots its prize and we get a fantastic pouncing display. Brown bear picture taken on location near Lake Clark National Park.
