Fighting Eagles or Lovers?

Sweet embrace of mating eagles or moment before collision of fighting eagles? There are fresh Alaskan salmon scraps in the snow, no lovers quarrel here, this is an eagle battle!

All while set for a collision course and steadying themselves with their powerful wings. Epic eagle battles are on display during the late salmon run at the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. There the largest concentration of bald eagles in the world amasses for their yearly Fall Congregation.
