A brown bear feeds on sedge growing the meadow in the Alaskan wilderness.
Brown bears tend to feed in the morning and evening during summer months to avoid the afternoon heat. They will eat all summer long to gain weight before hibernating in the winter months. Grizzly bears are very mobile and have been know to travel long distances to food sources.
