Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies is a beautiful place to visit in any season. In the middle of June, Peyto Lake glows a brilliant turquoise color while a small amount of snow remains on the surrounding peaks. This small but spectacular lake gets it wonderful color from the glacial silt that flows into it during the spring and summer.
