Colorado’s Vail pass sits at 10,666 feet in elevation between Vail and Summit County. It is home to great winter and summer recreation activities such as hiking, skiing and snowmobiling. Walter’s Cabin, a 10th Mountain Division hut, provides refuse for the night after a day of the great Colorado outdoors. Here we captured the warmth of the cabin under a beautiful starlight night.
